Saying YES

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16 (NLT)

God loves you and has a plan for you.

The Bible says that God loves us (John 3:16). He intentionally created you wonderfully and beautifully in the womb (Psalms 139:14). You are created for relationship, to love and be loved by God (Matthew 22:37-38).

But there’s a problem, man is sinful and separated from God.

It’s difficult to admit that we are wrong. But if we are really honest, we have all thought, said, and done bad things (1 John 1:8). The Bible says nobody is perfect; we have all messed up (Romans 3:10, 23). The cost of sin is death and separation from God (Romans 6:23, Isaiah 59:2).

Because of Jesus, we have GOOD NEWS!

God loves you so much, He gave His only Son to die for and save you (John 3:16-17). Jesus died, was buried, and was raised by God on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Through His death, He payed the price of our sins and restored our relationship with God so that we no longer have to be separated by sin and death (Colossians 1:19-20).

Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?

God has already forgiven you, but you have a choice to say yes or no to His forgiveness. You do not have to do anything to earn God’s forgiveness; it is a free gift of grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9). All that you have to do is confess that you are a sinner, believe that Christ died for your sins and rose from the grave, and ask for God’s forgiveness (Mark 1:15, Romans 10:9-10). If you would like some guidance, you can pray the prayer below to say YES to Jesus.

How to say YES.

“Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I’m not perfect. I believe that you loved me so much that you sent your Son Jesus to die for me to pay the punishment for my sins, and I believe that You raised Him back to life. Please forgive me for my sins. I am saying YES to Jesus and to following Him. Please guide me and help me to do your will. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
